A sequel to 2010's Metro 2033 and the second installment in the Metro series, Metro: Last Light debuted back in 2023 via the aforementioned duo. Then there's hand-drawn adventure game Toem, which takes players on a photographic journey filled with unique characters. Granblue Fantasy: Versus, meanwhile, is a well regarded 2D fighting game developed by Guilty Gear studio Arc System Works. Need for Speed Heat is undoubtedly the highest-profile PS Plus release in September, featuring open-world gameplay set in the fictional Palm City. This includes EA racing game Need for Speed Heat, fighting game Granblue Fantasy: Versus and unique indie title Toem. In the meantime, PS Plus subscribers still have time to download and install the free games for September 2022.
